1.What this page is
- 1.1How to have QuickCA delete the personal data it holds about you, what we delete when you ask, and what we are not able to delete.
- 1.2It applies to the QuickCA WhatsApp service and to https://quickca.aimethods.co, including the partner dashboard.
- 1.3What we hold in the first place is set out in the Privacy Policy at https://quickca.aimethods.co/legal/privacy.
2.How to ask
- 2.1Message QuickCA on WhatsApp at +917011583163, from the number registered on your account, and ask us to delete your data.
- 2.2Or write to support@aimethods.in with the subject "Delete my data", from the email address or phone number registered on your account.
- 2.3Tell us whether you want everything deleted, or only a particular case or document.
- 2.4We may ask you to confirm the request from your registered number or address before we act on it. Deleting someone's data on the wrong person's word is itself a breach.
3.What we delete
- 3.1Your profile: the name, phone number, language, PAN and tax profile held against your account.
- 3.2Every document you uploaded, and every earlier version of a document we replaced.
- 3.3Your income-tax portal user ID and the encrypted password stored with it.
- 3.4Your conversation with the bot, and the record of reminders sent to you.
- 3.5For a partner: your profile, your verification records, your bid history and your payout details - subject to section 4.
4.What we keep, and why
- 4.1The record of a return already filed, and the payment behind it. A filing exists at the Income Tax Department in your name and does not disappear because our copy does.
- 4.2Payment and payout records, which we are required to keep for tax and accounting.
- 4.3The record that a partner accepted the Partner Agreement, for as long as a case under it could still be disputed.
- 4.4Anything we are required to preserve for a live investigation or legal claim.
- 4.5Where the law requires us to retain a record, we retain it for the period that law prescribes, and we use it for nothing else.
5.What we cannot delete for you
- 5.1Your income-tax portal account and anything inside it. That belongs to the Income Tax Department, and only you can change it.
- 5.2Copies a partner holds on their own systems. Clause 7.3 of the Partner Agreement requires them to delete their copies when a case closes; if you believe one has not, tell us and we will pursue it.
- 5.3The messages in your own WhatsApp app. Deleting your side of the conversation is yours to do.
- 5.4Records Meta holds about the delivery of WhatsApp messages, which are governed by Meta's own terms.
6.How long it takes
- 6.1We acknowledge a deletion request within 72 hours.
- 6.2We complete it within 30 days.
- 6.3When it is done we tell you what was deleted, and what was kept under section 4 and why.
7.What deletion means for a case in progress
- 7.1If a case is open, deleting your data ends it. A return cannot be prepared without the information it is made from.
- 7.2If you have paid and the work has not been done, say so in your request and we will handle the refund alongside the deletion.
- 7.3If your return has already been filed, deletion does not undo the filing, and you still need to e-verify it.
- 7.4For a partner: finish or hand back any case you hold before asking, so a client is not left mid-filing.
8.If you are not satisfied
- 8.1Write to The Grievance Officer, AI Methods, at support@aimethods.in.
- 8.2We acknowledge within 72 hours and resolve within 30 days.
- 8.3If it is still unresolved, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Effective 21 September 2026.
